Hi Mel, Thanks for suggestion. Found two shortcuts for help file in c:\docs and settings\RK\recent, one with Start in c:\program files\dx4win707, another in c:\program files\dx4win604 (this one remained after deleting dx4win604 directory and files). After deleting this remaining old shortcut, hoped it would solve the problem, but hasn't ! 73, Radi F6GNZ
