I applied for my new licence key and it arrived within minutes. Downloaded Version 8 and imported the log from V6.03. It worked perfectly, once I'd downloaded the Microsoft Visual C redistribution library update on to one of the PCs. A handful of country import errors, but that's because I need to inform Jim about some exceptions. The one that surprised me was TO5T for a couple of 1996 QSOs. It came up as France, rather than Martinique.
I am very impressed. The Bandmap is probably my new favourite feature. Having been used to a Bandmap with N1MM in contests, it's great to have it for the daily logging program as well. Thank you, Paul and all others involved. DX4WIN is a fantastic logging program and great value.
