Ok, what did I do wrong? I downloaded Jim's latest conversion tool and tested it on a previous contest ( ARRL RTTY ROUNDUP 2010 ). My Contest logging software is WinTEST. My current version of DX4win is 8.03 ( Although I think I might have a problem with it since I can't seem to access packet ).
1. I moved my contest adif file to the save folder under 8.03. 2. I started the conversion tool. and told it to use the format of DX4WIN6 ( even though I am running dx4win version 8 ) . Jim's instructions say to use DX4WIN6 when importing? 3. The window in the conversion tool indicated that all my QSOs were written, but it also listed every QSO in the log with a notation "is missing received data" 3. I confirmed that the tool did create a .dxq file under the same save folder. 4. I then did an import into dx4win using the import/filters ID of DX4WIN6 ( Again per instructions ) I used "overwrite current QSOs" because I had previously loaded this file into DX4WIn ( You might ask why I would do this---The answer is because the original import did not populate the state column, it only populated the received column with the state. ) 5. The import result was that indeed it completed the import and the only issue is now neither the state column or the received column is populated ( Hence the original error message "is missing received data". The note column was populated with the note I had entered into the conversion tool. What am I missing. Any help appreciated. 73 Bill N4NX ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
