You guys are great and I think many of your answers were pointing in the correct direction.
The answer from Kostas ( see below ) rang the bell!! I use dual monitors and DX4WIN is always displayed in the same position on just one of the two monitors. To make this happen I had gone to File>Preferences>Screen and checked "Leave all windows in original position". This works great and is really a function I want; however, I must have somehow gotten the packet window completely off the screen and of course it was destined to stay there as long as the box was checked and saved. I did what Kostas said and unchecked box, saved and restarted DX4WIN--and low and behold up popped the missing packet window! I highly recommend the "Leave all windows in original position" function if you get the windows where you like them, BUT if you want to change those positions or in my case find a missing window--don't forget to uncheck the box and reposition the layout.
