Thanks, Jim! So, I have a follow-on question regarding spot age. Is there a way to automatically delete all spots older than 30 minutes in the spot window?

I'll try to explain best as I can. Let's say 3Y0X in Bouvet is spotted, and you need it for an all-time new one. The first time it's spotted, you'll get an audible spot alert ("bell" or voice announcement). Now if 3Y0X is spotted again 5 minutes later, you will NOT get another alert. Only when the newest spot is OLDER than the spot age will you get a new alert when there is an incoming spot for the same call. This prevents you from getting alerted every minute when a "rare one" is on and everyone and their brother (or sister) is making "I worked it!" spots. 73 - Jim AD1C p.s. I suggest you upgrade to 8.04 (latest). -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <jjreis...@alum.mit.edu>, http://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
