Today I wanted to see how many VUCC grids I have confirmed on LoTW (since moving to CO in 2007). My logbook said 102 confirmed, but VUCC said only 96 confirmed. How could that be?
The other station uploaded our QSO, but the station record with which they signed it (using TQSL) did not include the grid square! This means my log thinks the grid is confirmed, but because LoTW does not have the other station's grid square, the grid is not confirmed. At least one of the QSOs was from the most recent ARRL June VHF QSO Party (2011). I have sent E-mail to the eight (8) stations (out of 102) that did not sign their QSOs with their grid square, with instructions how to fix the problem. I wonder how many will do so. 73 - Jim AD1C p.s. my other pet peeve is when I send a QSL (and SASE) saying, "Thanks for the new grid" and the QSL I receive in return does not have the grid square on it.
