You might consider using something other than K1TTT. It's an extremely busy cluster, best to spread the activity around. Using telnet you will receive each spot exactly once. With a Web server, you are receiving them in fixed batches. If activity is low, you will receive spots multiple times. If it gets busy... more than 25 per minute, you may miss some. I would turn the question around... I would is ask is why use HTTP (DXSummit)? It's a sub-optimum solution. The only reason I can think of is if you are behind a firewall such as at work where telnet access is restricted... but I wouldn't think that is the case for most of us. Who gets to operate at work? ;-)
