Dave, Yes, it is possible to move your favorite connection to the top.
1. Open the dx4win.tcp file in Notepad. 2. Find the line for your desired node. 3. Cut the line, and Paste it at the top of the list. 4. Save the file, being sure Notepad does not add .txt by selecting File Type as All Files. That's it! 73, Jesse, KA8YYZ ------------------------------ Message: 7 Date: Tue, 28 Feb 2012 09:11:59 +0000 From: David Gould <d...@g3ueg.co.uk> Subject: Re: [Dx4win] packet questions new user To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Message-ID: <4f4c9a69.ca66b40a.2ec2.6...@mx.google.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed I had wondered the same question.. Just one follow-up. I use the local connection (to VE7CC). Is there a way to move this to the top of the list (currently 5th) so I can use the 3 x ENTER process. Is there an option to clear, automatically, all the old spots when starting a new session. If not this would be a useful option. 73, Dave, G3UEG At 01:05 28/02/2012, Jim Reisert AD1C wrote: >On Mon, Feb 27, 2012 at 5:27 PM, Art Holmes W1RZF wrote: > > > Is it necessary to specify the cluster node and my call each time > the packet > > function is initiated? > >Yes, there is no auto-login.
