For DXSpider, I keep a test file SpotFilter.txt with the following: acc/sp 1 on HF and by_zone 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,14,15,40 acc/sp 2 on VHF and (call_zone 2,4,5 or by_zone 2,4,5) rej/sp 1 by w3lpl
The I load a function key with the macro Filter|%fSpotFilter.txt% You could load one key with the AR Cluster filer commands and another with DXSpider syntax -----Original Message----- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of R.T.Liddy Sent: April 12, 2012 22:42 To: DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Fw: Re: Ignoring Screen spots - Filter Example (Correction) Slight correction on the Filter Setting..... Here is the Filter I use on my local AR-Cluster ( KQ8M.NO-IP.ORG ) which is running Version 6 : SET DX FILTER ( Cty <> K and Cty <> VE ) AND ( SpotterCty = K Or SpotterCty = VE ) AND SPOTTER <> W3LPL -3 This is what it does...... It excludes K & VE stations from being spotted AND It supplies spots only from K & VE stations AND It excludes all spots from a "certain" spotter. Hope this helps users on newer AR-Clusters. 73/GL, Bob K8BL P.S. The exclusion of the K & VE stations being spotted is to avoid seeing Skimmer spots of domestic CQ'ers. It's easy to turn them back ON during domestic Contests. I have had the "certain" spotter's un-hearable spots completely eliminated. The Node allows me to filter by Continent, Spotter, Country, etc., etc., etc. AND, the Node has Skimmers which can be turned on/off at will and set to only spot by numerous criteria. It's pretty new and absolutely great!! Everyone should give it a try!! It's KQ8M.NO-IP.ORG It's run by Tim KQ8M who is a long-time DX-er and Contester and he bends over backwards to accomodate the Users' needs. Tim will help you set up a Filter customized for you. Once you have it, you can possibly use it on your regular Cluster. 73/GL, Bob K8BL --- On Thu, 4/12/12, Jerry, N9AW <n...@sbcglobal.net> wrote: From: Jerry, N9AW <n...@sbcglobal.net> Subject: [Dx4win] Ignoring Screen spots from spotter To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Date: Thursday, April 12, 2012, 9:10 PM If someone knows how to set this in AR-Cluster I would very much appreciate a response to get this setup. Like George, I find a certain spotter annoying because 90% of the time I can't hear what he spots. 73 Jerry N9AW ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
