Joe and Bud, your suggestions solved my problem. Changed those settings and dx4win has been running for the last 8 hours without any issues. In addition to that later in the evening I also changed the default of the File/Preferences/Radio/Baud Rate from the default of 4800 to 38400 and did the same in the Config Menu of the K3. Thanks for your help.
