DX4WIN can't distinguish this case.  The only way software could do it
would be to have separate "QSL GRID" and "LoTW GRID" fields.  Then you
would get credit if the "QSL GRID" was filled in, and QSL confirm was
set to 'Y', or "LoTW GRID" was filled in and the LoTW Cnfm was set to
'Y'.  As you can guess, this can expand to many award fields if you
were to do it this way.

I (and others) have the same problem.  After the initial submission,
my plan is to submit credits from the LoTW site, then back-annotate
the VUCC Award Flags in DX4WIN to match (i.e. bypass the DX4WIN
submission loop).  It's a pain, I agree.

At some point, I plan to write a VUCC utility similar to this one:

I just have to have some time, which is in scarce supply these days.
Plus, I don't have the incentive to do it until I actually need it.
