John and Tom, I just confirmed the same behavior with the REV button running XP. My K3 timed out after about 20 seconds. I have a subRX on my K3, so I never use the REV button when running split. I normally just turn on the subRX and then listen to both frequencies at the same time. The workaround is to use the A/B button as John suggests. I wonder if a change to the radio control file in DX4WIN would fix this time out problem when pressing the REV button.
