Well, you guys are fast in replying. Tnx for the info.

I see that several of you use the VE7CC cluster program and that it can work
together with DX4WIN (up to a certain level I guess).

So I just scanned the W4GKF paper, which raised another question.

He's talking about setting up the filters by "checking the boxes" of needed
DXCC on certain bands (if I'm right).

But should DX4WIN not do the work and compare my DXCC-list of worked and
confirmed countries (from the qso database) as per band/mode/etc with the
incoming spots?

I don't want my cluster to tell what I need or not. I prefer this type of
information and intelligence to be on my own computer.

Am I right that the VE7CC program won't meet this specific "requirement"?

May be I should even go back to the basis.

I used VQLog in combination with DXTelnet from Fabrizio for more then 15
years now.

It workes(d) great (especially for VHF) BUT:

With all the new ways of confirming DXCC (LOTW), the spot window of VQLog is
not able to show me what I want.

I do have many paper qsl's but still need a couple of hundred for certain
bands/or modes.

In the meantime I also started working DXCC's on specific band/mode if don't
have them confirmed on LOTW. I just started all over again (keeps me away
from the street)

I want my spot window to warn me if I need a QSO with the DXCC or slot (this
triggers my Amp) or need the QSL in either paper or LOTW (this might trigger
my Amp)

These warnings should preferably be in different colours in the Spot window.

Is this possible with DX4WIN in combi with it's own or external Cluster/Spot
program.

I allready noticed that many programs can't do this.

Well a rather long story.

Sorry bothering you with these (may be stupid ideas).

73's, Evert PA2KW
