I left all the previous messages in place ‹ I know, that is bad form.

I am using DX4WIN and the DxDoubler. My preference is to have Radio 2 on
my right hand. That is a little backward for DxD and DX4WIN. I simply load
the logging program [in my case TR4W] and then when it is up the first
thing I do is type CTRL-R to switch to Radio 2.

I do the very same thing when I start up DX4WIN. In DX4WIN I select radio
2.

I have the correct Radio data set in each program [ it is identical with
respect to the COM port settings ]

My jumpers are as they came from the factory ‹ set for CT, TRLOG, etc. I
have no clue as to what this might do to N1MM. But I have a hunch that
N1MM evolved from CT and probably it will work just fine. I would try the
factory settings and ask questions on the N1MM reflector before I changed
anything.

Pete ‹ if you read this ‹ I am not sure that a USB Transceiver chip will
do the trick for the DXD folks. I am pretty sure that the BCD data on the
LPT lines will reflect the currently selected radio so Dave will probably
have no problems. I invested in the Top Ten Band Decoders so that function
is not one I am using out of the DXD. In fact, I have ICOM Top Ten Band
Decoders as a result of a lucky ³buy² from someone leaving SO2R and maybe
even radio. I have no ICOM radios here in ID [yet] . I would be happy to
consider a swap if someone needed them and had ones with the non-ICOM
version.
