Duane, I'm a little confused here. Your DX4WIN log file has a ".DXL" file extension. This is the file you do not want to over-write (unless you are re-saving your log). An exported ADIF file will have a ".ADI" file extension. When you try to save the exported ADIF file, just type a unique name into the "File name:" field in the "Save As" window. That name will automatically have the .ADI extension appended onto it when you save the file. Then remember this name, because you will need it for whatever program into which you are importing it.
