Hi Bob,

Yes, you can use MMTTY within DX4WIN without the rig file.  You will have to
enter the Mode and Band by hand for each RTTY QSO.  But you can capture
other information such as Callsign, name, qth and grid by double clicking
within the MMTTY receive window.  You will also be able to use the function
keys to transmit messages.

I have never used the digital modes With in dx4win.
If I want to use the mmtty module does the rig file NEED to work with mmtty?
Or since there is NO rig file for a FT-991 does that mean I can not use
mmtty with in Dx4win?
