My trusty shack computer finally died. I have been scouring the archives to no avail for the answer to my question. That box also had no physical serial ports or in it and I have been using a serial to USB adapter cable successfully for years on that box to control my radio with DX4win. Now I had to resurrect another computer for the shack which also has no physical serial ports and had no com ports listed. Originally I had the radio set on com port 7. I have tried 3 and 7 to no avail. What the heck am I forgetting to get my radio talking with the new computer again?
