Gents,

I reported this "issue" some weeks ago but no one answered my question.
I'm having exactly the same problem. Sometimes when using the F8 search key for a given callsign or DXCC entity not all data is shown.
Here is what i posted earlier:

Can someone shed a light on the F8 search function? For example, when hitting F8 to search all QSO’s for a given entity it never shows all contacts in my logbook? Same happens when searching for a specific callsign in my log. Today i entered a callsign in the entry window and it showed three previous QSO’s, when i searched for that callsign using the F8 key i got a message that no data could be found for this call?? Only after hitting ALT+F8 the previous QSO’s for that station became visible. How should i interprete this? When do i use the “normal” F8 key and when do i use ALT+F8. I do not understand the explanation in the help file, it does’nt make sence to me.

Grtz,

Theo ON4ATW

Has not happened to me yet, but has any body sent Paul a Bug report,or
doesn't that come up?

There are others having issues with F8 as well. Something did change in
Version 9. I keep getting messages that my search does not match the
filter, yet I am constantly cancelling the filter, but the filter (whatever
it is) does not go away. I can see the QSO's in the window, but DX4Win
tells me it's not there.

When you press F8, all fields in the QSO Window should be blank.
When you enter a call to search you follow that by pressing Enter.

Note that F8 only works when the QSO Window has the focus.

LOL, Paul, we know that. Next time I'm able to reproduce the problem, I'll
send you a screen shot. I use F8 a lot but this happens very rarely. I don't
ever recall seeing it before v9, though.
