Jim, I always have the F3 window open, and I have never heard the Windows bell as you describe. My QSO entry is completely silent. I wonder if you inadvertently turned on a Windows system sound setting. I am running 9.0.9 and Windows 10 latest updates.

What I think may have happened is that I recently raised the Windows volume to listen to a baseball game, and that made it just loud enough to hear the bells while wearing headphones. I don't know why DX4WIN would do this when adding a new QSO with the F3 window showing, but I guess it's been there all along. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <jjreis...@alum.mit.edu>, https://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
