W3LL DX4WIN Will Not Start DX4WIN Bud Governale <w3ll...@gmail.com> Thu, Jul 22, 2021, 9:07 PM to DX4WIN, bcc: me When trying to start DX4WIN I get an Error Message saying; "Failed reading The Country File".
When I hit OK to the above error message I get another window that says "dx4win.exe" An Error Occurred In The Application. Click on the bug report. The Bug Report says Exception Number 1 Exception Class EAccessViolation Exception Message: "Access violation at address 00404CA6 in module "dx4win". Read of address 04fffffC. This failure to start last happened in April 2020. No one had a solution that worked. Had to do a clean reinstall and lost too much in the Save folder where I stored the info need to preserve access to LOTW and other important information.
