I have always used the same settings as Mike except sometimes on different computers the com port varies.. And this includes using the USB interface on the rig. You should be able to use the same settings on the KX3. There are some differences, but not enough to bother. At least it has never caused me any issues with DX4Win or other software that doesn't list the KX3.
