When I was using DX4WIN, I set my old call QSOs as Group 1 (or whatever you have available). Then my new call was Group 0 default. The QSOs stay in the same log for tracking purposes. I also used other groups for operating from work club station, when I went portable 7, etc. Some use groups for different contests. Helps with sorting for sure.

I wondered if I should start a new log in DX4WIN or just change my call sign in preferences and keep using the same log? I know I will need to apply for a new LOTW certificate once the FCC call sign change winds its way through. I am interested in tracking award progress with the combined activity but not sure what steps I need to take. Thanks for any guidance on this.
