I just tried my update. I have not updated the files in a while on one
computer. It appeared that all the updates were listed. I unchecked List
of DX Clusters and ran updates on all the other files. After it was
done, I went back to check. The only thing listed was 'List of DX
Clusters'. It's usually the only file wanting to be updated on my
computers because I don't want to update and mess up my modified list.
So, that confirms to me that if a file doesn't need updating, it doesn't
show up in the update box.

I agree with WA7AA -- The options only show up if there is something to update. If
there's nothing, the window doesn't show anything. While I'd say that for any future
updates it might be nice to have a "No updates found" message I think this
current email thread is the only one mentioning the confusion since the new update system
was implemented in 9.0. I can understand the confusion for a new user though.

That is entirely possible. Maybe I didn't check very often, but I remember
always seeing a full list. When someone mentioned on here a few weeks back
that they were having trouble with updates, I checked a few times, and that is
when I noted the blank window. Perhaps this is all much ado about nothing?

Mike, that's not the way I remember it. The only time the Check For Updates
lists files to be updated is if there are new versions available. Then it gives
you an option to uncheck them if needed. If there are no new files, a blank
page will appear and that's normal.

I think the main issue is that the Help > Check for updates > Files
window appears blank. It used to show the entire list of files that
could be updated, whether there were new versions available or not.
Once again, thanks a zillion to Jim AD1C for providing the files.

Joe exactly the same as me.
I also execute version 9.0.9.1259 and when I select in "Custom Award"
VERSIO, below indicates 2025-08-25.
I don't see where the problem is with updates. Checking Jim's DX4Win
page, the award database was last updated on August 25, 2025. The
DX4WIN.CTY country file was last updated on September 5, 2025 (version
entity check is Z3).
This seems to match what you guys are reporting. What's the issue?
