Kun ei tässä enää mitään muuta voi, ei voi kuin
hienovaraisesti antaa kv. radioijien ymmärtää, että
"en enää kuuntele teitä, kun menitte internetiin ja jätitte radioaallot".
Nimittäin, aivan esimerkiksi ja faktisestikin.
Saattaa tietysti riippua jäyttiksestä ja
nettiliittymän nopeudestakin, mutta ainakin
minulla iTunesin audiostriimi pätkäisee joka
kerran, kun jokin selainikkuna päivittyy
[esimerkiksi DXmaps]. Tuollainen rassaa, jos etenkin ohjelmakuuntelisi.
Ja. Vastikään hankin yhden varakoneen "puhtaalla
Windows-asennuksella", ja jumangega että se kone
on täynnä tausta-appseja, jotka koko ajan
katkovat esimerkiksi Twente-SDR:n kuuntelua.
En tiedä, auttaako enää yhtään mitään ruikuttaa
yhtään kellekään, että "tietsikkani pakolliset
appsit pätkivät nettistriimiänne, tai sitten olen
vain muuten tumpelo pc:n kanssa". Tuskin yksikään
aaltoradiota heivannut operoija enää
reaktivoituu, Mutta ainahan voi valkoisesti
valhetellenkin ilmaista, että "enää en teitä kuuntele, kiitos WWW:n".

Thank you for your kind response to my reception reports.
Yes, it would be interesting to find out more
about your current international broadcasts.
In the past, it was so easy to pick up the World
Radio TV Handbook and tune the short-wave
receiver to your frequency. Nowadays, there is
the internet stream, but unfortunately the live
audio stream keeps cutting every time, the computer browser windows refresh.
To conveniently listen to the web stream, one
should have just one browser window active, or
only the iTunes or similar app running, and the
computer doing nothing else on the internet.
Also, virus scanners and other background
applications keep cutting the live audio stream.
Short-wave reception was much more comfortable,
as the audio never had breaks, even though may have been fading.
