Hello Firebrick, Even though the DXBase "modify hosts file" function does basically accept a pasted entry ....I wonder if that method (pasting-in) is the expected norm by Jack and his crew for users to be doing to make entries there in that part of DXBase? I suppose I could run some tests but I'm not - that - motivated to do so...thx for reporting back.
