Hi, Thought I would report back to the list and let everyone know that the communication problems I was having between DXBase and my radio were completely solved by changing the PACING value in the radios.ini file. The default is 10. My magic number (for my particular radio) was 12. Over 900 Q's this weekend and not a single hiccup.
Decided to use DXBase during the WPX Phone contest this year instead of a dedicated package. The only nit I have to pick operating DXBase in contest situation is that after hitting 'Yes' to clear a callsign after receiving a 'Duplicate Contact' message the cursor does not reset back to the callsign field. An additional <Esc> is required. This is perhaps a bug. Or perhaps brain fade on my part. Thanks for all the suggestions with my radio communication problem. 73, Glen Menendez, K2BF
