Folks,

A curious situation has been reported by one of our customers in Europe. He
used DXbase to create a DXCC award submission and took the award forms
created by DXbase to a field checker. The field checker was happy with the
forms except that he gave our customer "static" because of the number of
QSOs that appeared on the QSO form. The field checker said it could only
contain X number of QSOs per page. We found that to be surprising and
searched the ARRL web site. We see two versions of the QSO form, one in PDF
format and one in TXT format. On each of these forms, the number of QSOs is
different.

Was this field checker just being over zealous, or is there some rule we
don't know about and the ARRL has adopted but not published? Seems to us
that the number of QSOs on the form should not matter as long as it is
consistent with at least one of the sample forms on the ARRL web site? By
the way, other field checkers have been satisfied with the forms created by
DXbase.

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Courtney
