I thought I had experienced every possible com port anomaly and either beat
it or had it beat me.
On the way...I learned a few things but obviously not enough.

I operate cw, ssb, rtty, psk on the hf bands.
I use MMTTY for rtty with ptt on com 1
I use cw via the DXB interface with com 1 as the cw port
I can use the standalone WinPsk specifying com 1 as the ptt port
Both MMTTY & PSK use a soundcard and have connection to my MP's RTTY or
PACKET connection.
PTT & CW each has a transistor/resistor interface to the MP's ptt or cw
plug.

But what I CAN'T do is use DXBPSK program with com 1 as the ptt port.
It won't key the rig.
But if I switch to WinPsk standalone version, with the screen on top of DXB,
the com 1 ptt works perfectly and I can make contacts.

I can use MMTTY on top of DXB and send FSK rtty using com 1 as the ptt.

Click on the DXB screen to make that the focus and hit the rig's cw mode
button and it will send cw via DXB.

Now I think I understand that DXB is not sending ptt over com 1 when it
sends cw. It's just sending the cw to the key jack.
cw is on one pair of lines on the com port and ptt would be on the other
which DXB is NOT sending on???

Am I making myself clear?
