I used to hate always having to delete the default Group number in the label choice window to enter the Group character I had set for this particular dxpedition or station. K1B had a Group character of B etc.
On the Tools, User settings I chose Labels and put in characters with special significance to me into some of the choices. Then deleted the default for the others and the Address Label Group Box. Now when I choose to print labels there is NO default in the Group Box or in the Delete Labels boxes that I have to erase before I enter the groups I want. Remember you can assign and Alphabetic Character to a Group as long as it's upper case.
