Ed I attempted to connect using EASYTERM, which is a telnet program separate from DXBASE. I get conected, enter my call and that is as far as I get. Looks like the problem is at the K2LS cluster and not a DXBase problem.
Your welcome to connect to telnet://dxspots.com (IP 204.221.76.52) as an alternative. Unless you open up the filters you will only get dxspots and chat originating in the US and Canada. Also see http://dxspots.com for additional information. 73 Ron N5IN ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed Magnuson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DXBASE REFLECTOR" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2002 9:06 AM Subject: [DXBase] K2LS internet cluster > This post may be a bit off subject but has two purposes: > > 1--Some of you stateside hams who use DXBase to get internet > spots might prefer the K2LS cluster (24.184.186.237) because > it carries only those originating in the U.S. and vastly > reduces all of the annoying worldwide chatter not related to > spots.
