Dave, Not sure what you mean, "no sound"? Only in DXbase? No sound from Windows either?
In any case, if you mean just in DXbase, then probably it is because you have the master sound turned off. Check the lower right corner of the DXbase screen. On the DXbase status bar, you will see a speaker ICON. In your case, it is probably grayed out. Click it and it should change to a yellow ICON. The yellow ICON indicates that master sound is turned on and now the sounds you hear are controlled by normal DXbase user options.
