Hi Folks, I have two questions relating to both versions 2002 and 2003.
1) I have had three call signs within the past year, and two since using DX Base. Recently I wanted to go back and QSL some old QSO's that I'd made using the first callsign. When I imported the ADIF file from my previous logging application (AA Log), it automatically dumped everything into the existing call that I had in at the time (AB2NZ). When I got my new call (W2IRT), I changed the settings and everything was fine. Now I want to generate about 150 labels saying "VE3THX /W2 confirms" and not "AB2NZ confirms". In total there are about 1350 QSO's that need to be changed en-masse from AB2NZ to W2IRT as the operator call. Is there a way to do this without manually editing every entry? Even using cut-n-paste, I suspect it would be a pretty daunting job! 2) I have set up a nice custom 3-QSO label set up that's pretty close to what I want my 8161-size QSO labels to look like. This template allows the actual frequency to be printed on the label (not just the MHz value). While overall it's pretty good, I'd like to do two things with it that I just can't seem to find. a) Include the BAND (not MHz) variable for those contacts. (i.e. 15m not 21 MHz) b) draw X's or dashes through lines not used on a label (i.e. if I only use one line on a 3-line label, X-out or dash-out the second and third lines. I'd be glad to attach the label file to anybody who may have a better feel for label designs than me. I understand the layout aspect of DX Base pretty well, but modifying or creating variables is a black art that I will never understand. Thans in advance. 73 de W2IRT Peter Dougherty [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please visit http://www.nyctrackbook.com for details of my book, "Tracks of the New York City Subway"
