I know Ron has a cluster node and maybe he can help answer. Most of the cluster software have filters, such as band, mode, country of origin etc. But I don't think many have what I call 'CONTENT' filters.
Lately there has been a lot of cluster spots using obviously fake callsigns, comments with unsuitable language etc. You could filter out spots originating from various parts of the world while allowing others. (sort of a semi nodxdedx command) Even frequent bickering between dysfunctional cluster users has become common. I wish to NEVER see another spot originating from DX1ER, N0LID, F00L etc. I don't care to see these. The only way I see to eliminate them from my screen is to have user chosen filters. Options to include 'words', 'callsigns'. etc into a list that DXB would check and ignore if present. Sort of like the IRC clients 'Ignore' feature. I realize this could add a level of processing with it's inherent slowdown but if the feature was optional it would only effect users who wish enable it. Does any other DXB user feel as I do? Does any other DXB user have a solution? This one has recently moved high on my 2004 wishlist. ------------------------------------------------------------ What does a blonde owl say? What,?
