The cluster command differs depending what type of cluster program the node is running. There are several flavors of cluster these days, including the original DX PacketCluster by AK1A, the shareware clx, AR-Cluster, and others. HELP OVERVIEW doesn't work with AR-Cluster. The system prompt from the node will tell you what program is being used (e.g., "arc" for AR-Cluster).
As far as I know, the user filtering flexibility is highest with AR-Cluster, which is what my node runs. As Ron, N5IN, mentioned, with an AR-Cluster, HELP FILTERS is a good place to get started. More specifically, HELP SET/FILTERS or HELP SHOW/FILTERS gives you the details. Telnet is typically much faster. The commands that I told you to send were sent to the cluster via your telnet connection in DXBase. They are NOT DXBase commands. You can type HELP OVERVIEW in the Internet Packet window and hit enter and the cluster will send you a list of commands. To see the help on a particular command you would type "HELP command" like HELP SHOW/FILTERS will get you a list of the filters that can be set on that cluster.
