Why don't you just import it directly using Excel.

Go to "Data" -> Get External Data -> New database query and select "MS
Access 97 database.  This will open a "connecting to database window and
prompt for the file name.  Select your .mdf file (I strongly recommend that
you practice on a backup copy)
