Folks,

Beware! There is a large volume of virus infected emails being detected
here and elsewhere. These emails list a ham radio callsign as the sender
( various callsigns ). It's not clear if the callsigns reflected are
actually the author of the email. The content of the email discusses ham
oriented products and actually seems to be the text of messages that have
been posted to some reflector or bulletin board system. The emails contain
virus infected attachments. We've seen some dealing with transceiver
products made by popular manufacturers, some dealing with antenna rotor
systems, some dealing with ham oriented software.

If you haven't updated your antivirus definitions lately, it would be wise
to do so. If you are not using antivirus software, you must be suicidal...

Regards,
Courtney
