Help me out here folks. I have been a DXB user since the early
DOS version days and the main reason I've stuck with the product
is the ability of generating reports and forms for award submission.

I brought this up once before but nobody seemed interested except
one other user.

I suspect that I have all the QSLs necessary to qualify for all WPX
awards right up to the big one which requires a differing number of
confirmations depending on continent which DXB won't do at all.

What DXB is supposed to do is be able to select prefixes for all
requested modes --- CW, SSB or Mixed or bands. Unfortunately
unless I'm doing something wrong it doesn't follow the rules for most
of the award categorys.

The rules state -- no WARC bands --- no VHF contacts will
count toward any of the awards.

If I want to submit for "Mixed" I would check mixed and DXB
will successfully find all prefixes for all bands. HF and VHF on
all bands that I operate 160 through 6 meters.

Here is a snip from the rules:

"E. Certificates are issued for HF (160-10) for the following modes
and number of prefixes. VHF contacts do not count for the WPX
Awards program. WARC band contacts are not acceptable.
Cross-mode QSOs are not valid for the CW or Two-way SSB
certificates."

I'm using DXB2002 and as far as I can figure this problem was not
addressed with 2003. There is a plaque available for the ultimate
WPX award, it requires modes, bands and continents. DXB is of
no help.
