Stephen When doing a reinstall you have to do a 'IMPORT' to get your previous .mdb file to be read properly. In the DXB program group, choose the DXimport and select the proper version. Actually your a bit behind the curve and should consider upgrading to 2003 which has a lot of increased usability and features.
