Very common type problem Dave. It's not a DXB issue but a printer issue.
The very fine advance of the platen is at fault
I've had this problem also.
Here's how you fix it.
Go to Tools, Design Labels, select qso labels and then select the label
format that you are having the problem with.
When the label info comes up, select Project, Page Setup.
You will see a windows listing the dimensions,
you want to INCREASE the distance BETWEEN the labels VERTICALLY.
This is a bit of trial and error. Start by increasing a couple of hundreds.
This will give you an benchmark.

Now the important part, go to File, Save-as and edit the name slightly so it
will be distinctive for that HP printer such as HP920_8160-3q.lbl.
This way you will have one label definition for the HP and can use the
default definition for 950.

I forgot to do that once and when I got a new printer I had to redo the
process all over again.
