I had used various other methods (e.g., Excel) of tracking which cards I'd submitted for the various DXCC awards, but am now checking off the DXCC boxes in the Award column for cards previously submitted. (I am submitting for the first time for the newer, single band awards as well submitting a couple of cards for endorsements for Mixed, Phone, and CW.)
The help file on DXCC Award Process Overview says that QSOs prior to 1975 are not eligible for band/mode awards. In reading the DXCC rules, the only 1975 restriction is for CW DXCC; all of the single band awards go back to 11/15/45, so the help file doesn't seem correct. I'm confused about the Valid column and its Mixed and Mode boxes. I only see whether the two boxes are checked for a given QSO by clicking on the Valid column, so I was surprised to see lots of old QSOs with both boxes unchecked. Did I do that on an old import? Doesn't that mean they won't be selected for a DXCC submission? Jim N7US
