I notice that when I put in the Locator info, the distance is not = calculated or optimised. I was working a F4 on VHF over a distance of 522 km today and when I = logged the locator, the distance still showed the average info on the = country with (I think) Paris as reference.
Most logging programs update calculations immedialtly when entering = locator for beam headings and/or distances. Does Dxbase does this, I hope it does, this is a must for VHF reference = and usage. If yes, what am I overlooking here ?
