I have seen spots fail to appear in the DX Info window. They are needed
spots that "should" appear in the window (i.e. they have a green check mark,
not a red X).

But, spots that fail to appear in the DX Info window seem to be "duplicate"
spots, that is, they are repeats, close in time and frequency, to spots
that have already appeared in the window. I've always assumed that DXbase
has some logic that filters out such redundant spots so that the DX Info
window shows only the best representation of the needed DX on the bands at a
given time.
