Ditto;

On my IC-737A I'm using the com port to run a homebrew "CI-V" interface and
key PTT, and using the LPT to key CW. The only reason I use the two ports
is that my "CI-V" derives it's power from the DTR line, which is set in the
software to be always on. This has been 100% reliable with not only DXBase
but any other software that I've used (N1MM, Digipan, MixW, etc.)

A few 2N3904 transistors, some 1N914 diodes, some resistors, a couple of
isolation transformers, a chunk of perfboard and the connectors probably set
me back all of $15 at Radio Shack.

Steve N8NM
