Actually, you don't have to go to this much effort.  If VHF-Grids is the
catagory, just typing a grid in the search box at the bottom of the Summary
pane will show the stats and bearing and distance.

While messing with this, I did discover a problem with the summary pane.
After selecting VHF-Grids in the drop down box, focus is left on the
contents.  If you start typing without tabbing or mousing out of the box,
the contents are changed to the typed text.  You can even clear the
contents of the box so now you don't know what data the Summary pane is
showing.  Shouldn't the options be limited to the ones in the drop down, or
am I missing something?
