I'm using one with DXBase 2003 and my Yaesu G-800SDX. Works fine. Nice thing is that it works with Writelog too, with no need to change any parameters. I have it on COM 7. DXB settings - type HYG-DCU1, initialize AP1, turn rotor # ; AM1 ; stop rotor ; character checked and use leading zeros checked.
I use it with the Summary Window. With the DX country you want to work in the Summary Window just mouse click the SPath or LPath value and DXBase does the rest. With the rig interface to tune and set the mode and loading the Log Window with the log info form the DX Info Window, all ya's guts ta do iz work'em! ( and don't for get the CW interface to the W5XD keyer) Dale AA1QD ----- Original Message ----- From: "FireBrick" <> To: "DXBase List" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 17, 2003 7:21 AM Subject: [DXBase] anyone using the Rotor-EZ > From Idiom Press????? > > I'm thinking of upgrading my rotor control. > Want to make sure that it is compatible with DXB. > > From what I've read you use the HYGain DCU-1 protocol. > > > ----------------------------------------------------- > You need a Lifestyle change if: You come back from the dump with more than > you took > ----------------------------------------------------- > > W9OL, Bill H. in Chicagoland > > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web at www.dxbase.com > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > To UNSUBSCRIBE please visit: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase
