Carl, thanks for the info. I had previously installed RAC before I bought DXBase 2003. I had assumed I just pointed towards that directory. Page 101, 102 of the manual shows that you don't do it that way. I followed the instructions in the manual - created a DATA folder on E:\drive. Copied the RAC files to it. It now works fine.
