Keep in mind that in some countries, the slashed zero, or rather slashed O is a regular letter. In fact first letter in my name is slashed O =20 73 de =20 =D8ystein Stokkeland LA7QI Tel: +47 51 67 70 97 / +47 971 56 090 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I like to do this for callsigns only, leaving the zeros in dates and times unslashed. The problem I'm having is that I can right-click a text object in the label designer and get two different sets of available fonts when choosing between properties and fonts in the pop-up menu. For example, when I choose properties, I am not given Slashed Zero Arial and an available font, but then when I choose fonts, it is. The only problem is even though I can format my text using that font via the font menu, I can't print it. The text in the text block disappears. What gives? Getting back to my original comment. Is there any way or built-in function that I can apply to a variable that would to an ASCII replace ans substitute 0xD8 for 0x30 (that's alt-0216 for zero, or =D8 for 0)? A feature like this would be a heck of a lot better than what appears to be a bunch of corrupted fonts.
