I wrote, "I've remembered to check the save box." I think I figured out what the problem is. It appears to be a glitch in the software. I wanted to change the font of the main log to a slash zero font. In the "styles" window you can only change the font of the log window if you change and check save the "standard" window. If you change "Text Fields" and even if you check save the change will take immediate effect, but it will be saved as a default and will appear in the DXbase.ini file but it WILL NOT load the next time you start DXbase. I know it sounds weird but I've tried it numerous time on 2 different computers. If you start the program a second time your changed font will not appear. But if you go into the styles menu and just hit Load Default button your changed font will display. 73, Art
