Good Day All; I always create a new folder called my-labels and everything I have made or modified goes into this folder and inside the folder I create another folder called qsl-images where I place any images I have used. It is then just an easy copy paste motion to add this to the dxbase 2004 folder and if I need to make any changes it is automatically updated by dxbase to the latest format. It leaves the labels directory with the original contents and I keep them there in original form as a very good library of ideas. Anything new like the SWL labels and cards that came up last year from Joe were added here. To make sure nothing is left off I did a copy paste from labels in dxbase 2003 to dxbase 2004 and said no to any overwrites so any files in the 2003 folder that do not appear in the 2004 folder are added.
That is my solution to this. I also do my QSL card layouts in labels editor instead of the card editor. Personnel preference, I can see no particular advantage or disadvantage to doing this. I truly like this editor and I use it for designing my business cards as well as labels and QSL cards. 73 Garth VE3HO
