Hi all, I have been a big fan for years of DX Monitor. It has 3 very neat features and I am wondering if they are available in the packet portion of DXBase. The first is highlighing the time on recent spots (30 Minutes)in one color (red). The second is highlighting spots that originate within a user defined radius from the home QTH in Blue. The third is highlighting calls of a predefined list in red if they show up. The colors wouldn't matter so long as they could be different than the standard black.
These three features allow you at a glance to see what you are likely able to hear and work. I know that DXBase has the ability to do a voice announcement when spots come in but after turning it on to announc just what I need on 10,15,20,40, and 80, I can't get her to shut up!! I have turned all the announcements off but she happily announces each spot! A visual indicator, rather than audio would allow me to turn my speakers back on!!
